Being Extrordinary

Below is a copy of an email to Carol Roche Seminar Leader from a participant in the Being Extraordinary Seminar – Cathal Cormac – which  is self expanatory- and simply  inspiring!   Read it and I’m sure you’ll agree!

Hey Carol,

Cormac here from the ‘Being Extraordinary’ Seminar.

Thanks so much for great session last night I really got a lot out of it!

But I kinda regret not getting up to share something great that happened to me last week and last night’s session really reminded me of how great it was.

I work in the newspaper industry but I started doing some charity work on the side for Teen-Line Ireland last August because I really care about young people in Ireland.

But after a few months I started making excuses about why I couldn’t give more time to it etc and my plan was to pack it in after Christmas to just concentrate on work.

But thanks to Landmark and you’re seminars I thought “Where’s my integrity in packing it in?” !!!

So after I did the Advanced course I rang up the boss in Teen-Line and restored my integrity with her which was great. But then an amazing thing happened last week. She rang me and said Teen-Line have a slot on RTE 2′s ‘TwoTube’ programme and they would like me to go on and represent them as a spokesperson which goes out tomorrow (Thursday) in a slot between 5pm-7pm.

It’s only going to be a three-minute interview but it gives me a great chance to make a difference in other people’s lives (hopefully!) and to make a stand for something I believe in – young people in Ireland. And Teen-Line want me to do more work for them as a spokesperson and to become more involved in the great work they do.

This would never have happened were it not for Landmark and your seminars, Carol. Without them I would have packed it in by now and I wouldn’t have had the chance to make a real difference in other people’s lives. So thanks!

I’m also hoping that I can get someone from Teen-Line to come with me next Tuesday also. It would be great if I could make that happen.

Yes, I’m a little bit nervous about making my TV debut !!! . . . but it doesn’t really faze me too much either.

Anyway just thought I would let you know.

Many thanks,

Cormac.
